Exhibition 'Het Geheime Huis' - An Intimate Encounter

On October 5 2025, two performances took place in the exhibition Ingeborg Meulendijks: Het Geheime Huis at Odapark, Venray (The Netherlands) – a creative collaboration between Ingeborg Meulendijks and Nessim Cohen.

Nessim Cohen is a contemporary artist and performer working in Paris and Kyoto. His research began with learning Chanoyu, or the Japanese tea ceremony, and has expanded to question our relation to intimacy, decay and the act of offering.

Ingeborg Meulendijks invited Nessim to bring one of the installations in the exhibition The Secret House to life. He prepared an intimate encounter for a number of guests.

After the performance, there was an opportunity for a conversation with performer Nessim Cohen and artist Ingeborg Meulendijks.
